Business Requirement:
We implemented HRMS manager self service and using AME, For New Hire process, the approval is: HR Director, and FYI notifications to IT, Finance, Security department.
We are on AME B, oracle 12.0.5. As of now I am successful to send to HR Director for approval. I need help for FYI notifications
Please let me know how can I achieve this.
Solution:
Already rule is created for Approval process.
1. Create Approval Group(FYI recipeints)(You can use Position Roles)
2. Create new rule having Category as "For You Information".
3. Condition of FYI rule will be same as Approval rule.
4. Action will be notification to FYI recipients.
5. Test it.

dear can you tell me how to create new rule having category as "FYI" because there is no option like this only these option are there when create rule

This needs to be done at the rule level. There are tow types of rule 1. Approver 2. For Your Information. If FYI option is not coming at Rule level then please check your Configuration Variable. This can be checked either at Approval AME Administrator / Approver Management business Analyst responsibility. Allow FYI Notification. Then Clear the cache and check.

My FYI notifications require acknowledgement by the recipient before the transaction will complete the approval process. I would like the FYI to not affect the completion of approval.
Can this be done? Thank you for your help.
